• Attach a resume. At least 20% of people forget to do this. Also don't paste it into the body of the email either!
• Run a spell-check. And for the love of God, spell your name correctly!
• A good, well-written introductory email telling us why you're suitable for the role will always get our attention. An email which simply states "I would like this job" probably won't. And yes, someone actually sent this once.
