Human Resource Director

The successful candidate will work closely with the management team to develop and manage the increasing HR needs within a rapidly growing online games company. The HR Director will have a primary role in shaping the organizational structure of the company, which will encompass internal, external and overseas teams.  It is expected that the successful candidate will be directly responsible for managing the sourcing, selection and placement of employees (senior and junior) at all levels in the company.

Additional areas of responsibility:

• Responsibility for creating, monitoring and reviewing performance appraisal plans for the company
• Development of compensation and general benefits plans
• Provide support and advice on employee relations matters to all employees
• Pro-active management of employee relations in line with legislative requirements
• Integration of new employees with acquisitions

  Qualifications/Experience: 

• The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years experience in a Senior HR role.
• Degree and CIPD qualified (Masters an advantage)

Online Games Statistician/Analyst

We are seeking a candidate to become our primary in-house games statistician, focusing on all aspects of our online games. The successful candidate will be responsible for the analysis,  tracking and interpretation of a wide range of data and will have a significant input into all game design, development and future strategy.

This position will report directly to the most senior members of the company. This is a newly created position within the company and (inevitably!) the successful candidate will become an industry expert on all aspects of online gaming behavior during the course of their time here.

The position will be specifically tasked with the following:

• Ongoing analysis (historic and current) of specific gameplay metrics across a range of online games
• Creation of new metrics to measure behavior relevant to the games (covering areas such as new user activity, purchasing behavior, social/viral activity etc.)
• Using the data to draw conclusions which impact on all aspects of the business, including design, implementation, maintenance, support etc.
• Creating report templates for clearly communicating analysis and conclusions to the rest of the company

The successful candidate will have as many as possible of the following qualities:

• Demonstrable technical analysis and arithmetic skills and a relevant qualification in statistics and/or mathematics
• Extremely comfortable in using graphs and other illustrative tools to present large volumes of data
• Extremely strong communication skills-we want someone who can speak their mind
• A self-starter, yes we know everyone says this but we are a rapidly growing company and the successful candidate must be able to deliver within this environment i.e. not waiting for someone to simply hand them the data
• An interest in video games

Extra attention will be paid to candidates who can tick all of the above boxes and who also have demonstrable programming/software development experience.

Remuneration will be based on experience.
